Chocolate Avocado Pudding
This chocolate avocado pudding is one of those recipes that surprises you with how rich, creamy and delicious it tastes! It takes minutes literally to throw this together, and it’s packed with antioxidants, fibre and healthy fats your body needs. You can turn this into a vegan recipe by replacing the honey with pure maple syrup.
Note: it tastes even better after it’s chilled for a few hours.
(makes 3-4 servings, depending on the avocado size)
- Two ripe avocados
- 1 cup (160 g) pitted date
- 5 tbsp raw cocoa powder
- ½ cup (125 ml) purified water
- ½ tbsp raw organic honey
- a pinch or two of sea salt
Place all the ingredients in your high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings. Refrigerate and enjoy! Optional: chop your dates first to make them blend more easily.
