Keeping the Root Chakra Balanced

First, let’s talk about where the root chakra is located. The root chakra is the first major energy center in your body, and it lives at the very bottom of your spine! In today’s post, I will be going over all aspects of the Root Chakra, including its location on your body, as well as some ways to keep it balanced if it becomes imbalanced.

Each person has seven primary energy centers, each of which affects a particular aspect of our lives. From our instincts to sexuality and personal power to how we love, communicate, utilize our intuition, and relate to our most profound spiritual source.

The Base Chakra is the foundation of spiritual and physical health. This Chakra controls our sense of security, stability, and safety in this world. To enjoy good health, you need to make sure your root chakra remains balanced!

The Chakra is associated with the earth element, commonly known as our connection with nature. This Chakra helps give us a sense of safety and security in this world and governs our primal urges-our need for food, shelter, sleep etc. When your base or root chakra is out of balance, you may find yourself feeling unsafe often or wanting to withdraw from society more than usual.

If your Chakra becomes imbalanced, you must do things that help restore balance into your life! You can try meditating outside by spending time in nature looking at trees and plants. If possible, going on some walks around parks just taking time away from technology and working even for short periods each day helps.

The colour of the root chakra is red. The musical note associated with the root chakra is C, and its seed sound is LAM, pronounced lum. If you would like to support your root chakra, I recommend surrounding yourself with red things like pillows on the bed or whatever decoration colour schemes in your home and wearing more red clothes than usual. You can even wear red lipstick every day. You can also choose red foods to add to your diet to help your Root Chakra, like beets and apples.

Music and dance are some of the ways you can help balance the Chakra. This Chakra is associated with the earth and its natural rhythm. So music that has a strong beat and rhythm to dance to helps balance this energy centre and all of your others!

Evaluating your base chakra

Simply answer YES or NO to each of the statements below. If you score more than four Nos it may indicate that your base chakra is imbalanced. If you score four or more YES answers, wonderful! You are balanced in the base centre.

– I exercise regularly.
– My diet is healthy and balanced most of the time.
– I am comfortable with my level of prosperity and abundance.
– I take the time to visit nature on a regular basis.
– I feel good about my body.
– I feel happy about how I earn my living it is satisfying and enjoyable.
– I focus on today & I feel connected and grounded to what I am doing at the time

One of the most powerful ways of balancing your base chakra is through reconnecting with your physical body using practices such as dance, yoga, massage, and physical activity.

Chakradance is a healing modality and a form of dance therapy that I love to use to support my chakra health. Chakradance is the dance that uses specific music and allows you to move to your natural rhythm, focusing on stimulating and opening the chakras.
